Skype is a great way for people to keep in touch. It offers chat and video between 2 people. The account is free, the usage is free, and the calls are free. You need a mic & speakers, webcam is optional. You can even use Skype on your iPhone or Android device and use your cellular data signal.For law firms this is a fantastic way to keep in touch for an interoffice chat or a great wat to keep in touch when setup in the cloud in various locations. We have also used this as an alternative solution to costly conference calls over seas for our law firms. It also works great for multi-user conference calls.You can even have security on who can Skype you if you wanted to add that extra layer of security. Many of our attorneys use skype to text or video chat with their paralegals while on the go since skype is fully compatible with Apple and Android devices. This is a great free service that we use internally, we highly recommend it.
